Simon Eckart

Simon Eckart (born January 23, 1848 in Ipsheim , † September 2, 1919 in Ansbach ) was a German building contractor, stonemason and member of the German Reichstag .

Life

Eckart attended elementary school in Ipsheim and learned from 1860 to 1863 as a bricklayer and stonemason in Uffenheim . As such, he worked in the largest cities in Germany, Austria and Denmark, completed the building trade school with a master course in Holzminden and was employed by the Bavarian state building authorities as a site manager from 1869 to 1875. In 1875 he bought a building and masonry business in Ansbach. In 1884 he was appointed to the municipal administration of Ansbach as a municipal representative. Since the accident insurance law came into existence, he has been a delegate and member of the board of the Bavarian building trade and professional association.

From 1898 to 1903 he was a member of the German Reichstag for the constituency of Middle Franconia 3 ( Ansbach , Schwabach , Heilsbronn ) and the German People's Party .
