The Naltar Pass is a high mountain pass with a peak height of 4600 meters in Gilgit-Baltistan in the north of Pakistan .
The pass is located north of Shani Peak in the Naltar Valley and can only be walked on. Shani is the starting point for the Naltar Pass, the gateway to the Ishkomantal . To the west of the Naltar Pass lies the Chaprot Pass and to the east the Hayal Pass .
The Naltar River is fed by the Shani Glacier. The small moraine lake Naltarsee is located in the Naltar Valley . Wander on trekking tours in this high valley that tourists and locals, live ibex , markhor and other animals of the region.
