The Namibian Aviation Training Academy (NATA) is a flight school in Namibia, South West Africa . It was founded with the support of the German Dornier works . NATA's headquarters are at Eros Airport in Windhoek . The school was inaugurated on February 24, 2000 by the then Namibian President Sam Nujoma at Keetmanshooper Airport in the south of the country. The training school program of the Namibian Aviation Training Academy is divided into pilot and technician training.

NATA offers courses for private pilot licenses, night flight rating, instrument rating and professional pilot training as well as flight engineers. For practical flight training, NATA uses the Keetmanshoop airfield, around 500 kilometers south of Windhoek. The airfield was chosen because it is rarely used as an alternative landing place for airlines in Namibia and therefore does not have any particular traffic volume. The NATA facilities are located near the taxiway and both runways. ATC services such as VOR , DME , ADF , NDB , tank systems and all necessary emergency and safety equipment of the school are available for training.
