Nana Krüger (* 1962 in Bad Säckingen ) is a German actress .

Life

Krüger was born in Bad Säckingen as the third child of an Italian mother and a German father. She first grew up in Hong Kong before the family moved to Switzerland in 1972 . She was trained at the Zurich Acting Academy, and then initially played mainly theater . From 1988 to 1992 she was engaged at the Staatstheater Darmstadt , then until 1995 at the Oberhausen Theater . She then moved to the Schauspielhaus Zurich , where she was on stage until 1997. This was followed by engagements at the Volkstheater Vienna and in 1999 at the Maxim Gorki Theater Berlin.

Since 1998 Nana Krüger can also be seen on television and in the cinema. She shot the movie Vollmond by Fredi Murer in Switzerland and took on episode roles in TV series such as In the Name of the Law and Die Motorrad-Cops - Hart am Limit . In 1999 she took acting classes at the Hollywood Acting Workshop . At that time, she was also in the RTL series Behind Bars - the woman barn on the screen.

From 2001 to 2006, Krüger played the role of Chief Police Commissioner Cora Winkler in the RTL crime series Section 40 . In 2004 this earned her a nomination for the German Television Prize . In the meantime, she was on the screen in 2005 in the Italian-Swiss cinema production Undercover . This was followed in 2006 by a Swiss TV production called Everything stays different . In 2007 she was on ARD alongside Dieter Pfaff in Bloch - Der Kinderfreund . She then took on a guest role in SOKO Wismar on ZDF , before filming for her current television work began in 2008.

In 2009 Nana Krüger appeared in the ARD Monday evening series Geld.Macht.Liebe . She embodied the melodramatic role of the boutique owner Isabelle von Norden .

In summer and autumn 2010 she played the role of "Karen" in the play "Eine Familie" by Tracy Letts at the Ernst Deutsch Theater in Hamburg. In 2012 she starred in the second Lucerne episode of the Tatort series in the episode entitled Scalpel .

She lives in Berlin, is married and has a daughter. In addition to acting, she works as a constellator .
