Nancy Nye is a production designer .
Life
Nye began her career on the film staff in 1984 as assistant set designer on the drama The Heartbreakers, starring Peter Coyote and Nick Mancuso, and worked as a production designer for the first time in 1987 on William Friedkin's thriller Rampage . After several other film and television productions, she and Jan Roelfs received an Oscar nomination in 1998 for the best production design category for the science fiction film Gattaca .
In addition to major Hollywood productions such as The Client and Coach Carter , Nye also worked repeatedly for television, including the series Under the Dome and Chicago Med . In addition, she was an actress in 1987 in an episode of the series You Again? seen alongside Jack Klugman and John Stamos .
