Nancy Stepan

Nancy Leys Stepan (* 1939 ) is a historian who deals with the history of science in Latin America and Brazil .

Life

Stepan received his PhD from the University of California in 1971 . She is known for her research on Latin American medical history , eugenics, and public health . She is a professor emeritus at Columbia University .
