Okoro started in Gerede for the first time in January 2015 in the Balkan Cup and took third place over 5 km classic and fourth place over 5 km freestyle. In February 2016 she ran at the Winter Youth Olympic Games in Lillehammer on 32nd place over 5 km freestyle and cross and on 25th place in sprint and at the Junior World Championships in Râșnov on 63rd place over 5 km classic and 15th place with the relay. In the 2016/17 season she clinched her first classic victory in the Balkan Cup in Bansko over 5 km. In addition, she came second and third and reached seventh place in the overall standings at the end of the season. Her best placements at the European Youth Olympic Winter Festival 2017 in Erzurum were 14th place in the sprint and eighth place in the mixed relay. At the following Nordic World Ski Championships in Lahti in 2017 , she came in 69th place over 10 km classic and 65th place in sprint. In the 2017/18 season she won the Balkan Cup six times. In addition, she achieved second and third place each and thus won the overall ranking of the Balkan Cup. At the 2018 Junior World Championships in Goms , she finished 57th in sprint, 50th in skiathlon and 46th place over 5 km classic. The following year she achieved 76th place in the sprint and 72nd place over 10 km classic at the Nordic World Ski Championships in Seefeld in Tyrol .
