Gerede (also Flaviopolis, Geredia, Kratya, Gerdipoli, Gerdüpeboli, Gerdepeboli, Gerdele ) is a district town in the east of the Turkish province of Bolu .
The district borders in the north on the quantitative district , in the east on the districts Dörtdivan and Yeniçağa and in the southwest on the district Kıbrıscık . Externally it borders in the northeast on the province of Karabük , in the east on the province of Çankırı and in the southeast on the province of Ankara .
