Seben is a city and a district in the Turkish province of Bolu . The place is about 40 kilometers south of the provincial capital Bolu .

The district is located in the south of the province. It borders on Mudurnu County to the west, the Central County to the north, Kıbrıscık County to the east and Ankara Province ( Nallıhan County ) to the south . A country road connects Seben with the D170 in the south and Bolu in the north. The city lies on the Aladağ Çayı River , which flows south into the Sakarya . The mountain range of the Köroğlu Dağları runs through the circle .

The district has the second lowest population of all districts in the Bolu Province and, in addition to the district town (46% of the district population), also consists of 29 villages ( Köy ) with an average of 27 inhabitants, of which Çeltikdere (203 inhabitants) is the largest. The population density is the second lowest in the province.

Attractions

Somewhat northeast of the district town are the cave dwellings called Seben Kaya Evleri .
