Kıbrıscık is a city and a district in the Turkish province of Bolu . The place is about 40 kilometers southeast of the provincial capital Bolu .
The district is located in the south of the province. It borders in the west on the district of Seben , in the northeast on Dörtdivan and in the south on the province of Ankara (district Beypazarı ). The city is connected by a highway to the north with Bolu and to the south with Beypazarı in Ankara Province. The mountainous district lies entirely in the Köroğlu Dağları Mountains . The area crosses from east to west by the river Ulu Çayı , which flows further west into the Aladağ Çayı and together with it into the Sakarya .
The most populous district consists of the district town (around 37 percent of the district's population) and 22 villages ( Köy ) with an average of 92 residents. This is the lowest average in the province. The most populous village is Karaköy with 230 inhabitants. The district has the lowest population density in the province.
