Naoki Matsuyo ( Japanese 松 代 直樹 Matsuyo Naoki ; born April 9, 1974 in Nara Prefecture ) is a former Japanese football player .
Career
Matsuyo learned to play soccer on the Kanmaki High School school team and Tenri University college team . He signed his first contract with Gamba Osaka in 1997 . The club played in the highest league in the country, the J1 League . With the club he became Japanese champion in 2005 . He contributed to winning the AFC Champions League in 2008 . For the club he completed 131 first division games. At the end of 2009 he ended his career as a football player.
