Mitsuru Nasuno ( Japanese ナ ス ノ ミ ツ ル , actually: 那 須 野 満 , both: Nasuno Mitsuru ; born November 17, 1963 in Morioka , Iwate Prefecture ) is a Japanese improvisation musician ( electric bass ). He is particularly interested in the possibilities of noise music and the electronic sound extensions of his instrument.

Live and act

Nasuno found his way to bass at the age of 17 and initially played in rock bands . During his studies he played in the college's big band and took lessons to learn the double bass .

In 1980, Nasuno founded the trio Altered States with drummer Yasuhiro Yoshigaki and guitarist Kazuhisa Uchihashi , which continued to perform in 2012, released various albums and performed internationally. From 1992 to 1996 he was also a member of the jazz core band Ground Zero , with whom he recorded three albums, and later played in bands of Yoshihide Otomo . He also worked with Keiji Haino and led the Mugamps group , later Reverb .

Nasuno has been a member of Korekyojinn since 1998 and is also a member of the Unbeltipo and The World Heritage groups . He also played with musicians such as Kazutoki Umezu , Chris Cutler , Tenko , Samm Bennett , Ned Rothenberg , Jon Rose and Thomas Buckner with Alfred Harth , kazuhisa uchihashi and Chris Cutler, he joined in 2015 at the Frankfurt Jazz Festival as Hope on.
