Korekyojinn ( 是巨人 (also) Korekyojin written) is a Japanese progressive rock - Power Trio . The band, founded in 1998, is a project of members of various bands of the diverse Japanese progressive rock / Zeuhl scene and has released albums on John Zorn's label Tzadik and on the Japanese label Magaibutsu. The name of the band means “this giant” in Japanese and is a play on the names of the bands This Heat and Gentle Giant .

Drummer Tatsuya Yoshida , owner of the Magaibutsu label, founded Ruins and is also active with Koenjihyakkei and Daimonji , among others . Bassist Mitsuro Nasuno was a member of the jazzcore band Ground Zero and is also a member of Daimonji; Guitarist Natsuki Kido is a member of Bondage Fruit .
