Natalija Olegovna Goncharova ( Russian Наталия Олеговна Гончарова , English transcription: Nataliya Goncharova Olegovna * 1. June 1989 in Skole , Ukrainian SSR , 2012-2016 Nataliya Obmochaeva , Russian Наталия Олеговна Обмочаева , English transcription: Nataliya Olegovna Obmochaeva ) is a Russian Volleyball player . She became world champion in 2010 and took part in the 2012 and 2016 Olympic Games.

Career

Goncharova began her career in the Ukraine with Regina Rivne , where she later played for Universitet Ivano-Frankivsk . With the Ukrainian offspring, she became European champion in the U18 age group in 2005 and third in the European Championship in 2006. In 2007 she made her debut in the senior national team of her home country. In the same year she moved to the Russian first division club VK Dynamo Moscow , for which her sister Valerija Goncharova also played. With the club, she finished second in the league in the first season. In 2009, the outside attacker made the national double from the cup and championship. Moscow also reached the final of the Champions League against Foppapedretti Bergamo .

In the 2009/10 season Dynamo was runner-up. Goncharova received Russian citizenship and could therefore be used in the Russian national team , which happened for the first time at the tournament in Montreux . In 2010 she won the World Cup in Japan with Russia . In 2011 she was cup winner with Moscow and second in the league. A year later, the club took second place in the championship for the third time in a row. Goncharova took part in the Olympic Games in London and reached fifth place with Russia after leaving the quarter-finals. In 2013 she became European champion with the national team in Germany and Switzerland .

Private

Goncharova was married to Russian national player Alexei Alexandrovich Obmochayev from 2012 to 2016 .
