Natalja Anatoljewna Butusowa ( Russian Наталья Анатольевна Бутузова ; born February 17, 1954 ) is a former Soviet archer .

Career

Natalya took Butusowa 1980 in Moscow at the Olympic Games in part. With 2477 points she finished second behind Ketewan Lossaberidze and thus received the silver medal. In her second Olympic participation in 1988 in Seoul she finished 18th in the individual, while she just missed another medal win with the team in fourth. At the world championships in 1981 in Punta Ala , she was world champion both in the individual competition and with the Soviet team. She was European champion seven times, from 1979 to 1983 she was also five times in a row Soviet champion. After her active career, she first worked as a coach in her native Uzbekistan and later also coached the German national team.
