Natalia Leonidovna Troitskaya
Natalja Leonidovna Troitskaja ( Russian: Наталья Леонидовна Троицкая , scientific transliteration Natal'ja Leonidovna Troickaja ; * 1951 in Belgrade ; † April 9, 2006 in Moscow ) was a Russian opera singer (soprano).
Life
The soprano Natalja Troizkajaw was a member of the Vienna State Opera from 1984 to 1991 , where she sang the leading roles in Tosca , Manon Lescaut , Aida and Il trovatore on 34 evenings. She was also a guest in the Arena of Verona and other major opera houses. In addition to Aida, her star roles also included the title role in Francesco Cilea's Adriana Lecouvreur and Tatiana in Tchaikovsky's Eugene Onegin .
Since 1995 she has taught singing at the Gnessin School in Moscow and has also given master classes. Her stage partners included Plácido Domingo and José Carreras .
