Sernowa ran her first race in the Continental Cup in Krasnogorsk in December 2003 , which she finished in 22nd place over 10 km freestyle. In December 2005 she finished fifth at La Sgambeda . She made her debut in the cross-country skiing world cup in January 2007 in Rybinsk . She finished in the points with 26th place in the 15 km mass start race and 30th place in the sprint. At the Rollerski World Championships 2007 in Oroslavje , she won the bronze medal in the pursuit and the silver medal with the relay. In 2008 she came fifth at La Sgambeda and fourth in 2009. In February 2009 she reached her first podium in the Eastern Europe Cup with second place in the sprint in Rybinsk . At the Rollerski World Championships 2009 in Piglio , she won the gold medal with the relay. After third place at La Sgambeda at the beginning of the 2010/11 season, she reached seventh place in the Eastern Europe Cup with third place in the sprint in Moscow and in Syktywkar with second place in the sprint and over 10 km freestyle in the overall ranking. In February 2011 she came in Rybinsk in her third and so far last World Cup with the 27th place in the sprint again in the points. At the 2011 Rollerski World Championships , she won the silver medal with the relay. Since 2013 she has only participated in ski marathon races. In 2013 and 2014 the Toblach – Cortina won the 30 km freestyle and in 2015 and 2017 the Gsieser-Tal-Lauf . At the Demino Ski Marathon she came third in 2013 and 2017 and second in 2015 and 2016.
