3OH! 3 (pronounced “three oh three”) is an American electronic band from Boulder (Colorado) that has many influences from underground hip-hop . Their name, pronounced three oh three , refers to the 303 telephone code for central Colorado.
history
The 3OH! 3 members are Sean Foreman, Nathaniel Motte and DJ Hardesty Foreman. The latter, who belonged to the band Eight Hour Orphans before founding 3OH! 3 , came up with the idea of putting together some mixes with Motte. Good connections to other local greats such as Grace Gale, Signal to Noise and The Blackout Pact as well as an appearance as the opening act for Katy Perry made them successful .
Their biggest success so far is the song Don't Trust Me , which made the band known internationally and for which they went platinum several times due to sales (in Canada, the United States and Australia). Also for the single Starstrukk , for which they could win Katy Perry, the band received platinum in the United States and Australia.
