The Eichenberg is a 32 hectare nature reserve 1.5 kilometers northeast of Kallmünz on the right side of the Naab valley in the district of Regensburg , Bavaria . In addition to the 433 meter high Eichenberg, the nature reserve also includes a section of the Naab with islands formerly used as meadows. The Eichenberg plateau is home to endangered drought-loving communities. The reef limestone cliffs in the area are also characteristic.
