Area description
The NSG is north and northwest of lead washing . It begins near the main road L 959. The federal road B 480 cuts the NSG into two parts.
The NSG is the course of the Lühlingsbach in the Paderborn district with the floodplain . The Lühlingsbach flows into the Nette river within the NSG . The area is used as grassland with meadows and pastures or has fallen fallow. In the NSG there is wet and wet grassland, riparian trees and rows of trees. Großseggenrieder and Krautfluren can also be found. Meanders structured the streams. Smaller areas with deciduous and spruce forest are also in the NSG.
Rare animal and plant species are found in the NSG. The designation was also made because of the Habitats Directive or the bird protection directive such as bullhead, black stork and red kite.
