The Nette is a 10.36 km long orographically right tributary of the Alme in North Rhine-Westphalia , Germany .
geography
The Nette rises north of Bad Wünnenberg - lead wash at an altitude of 440 m above sea level. NN . Three more streams arise within a radius of 500 m, two of which flow off towards the Aabachtalsperre , the third is the Lühlingsbach , which flows into the Nette after 4.7 km. This initially flows from its source in a north-westerly direction, but then turns to the west. After a stretch of river of 5.5 km the already mentioned Lühlingsbach flows on the left. The Nette meanders further west and flows northwest of Alme into the river of the same name . The mouth is at an altitude of 299 m above sea level. NN
On its 10.36 km long path, the Nette overcomes a difference in altitude of 141 m, which corresponds to an average bed gradient of 13.6 ‰. It drains a 39.688 km² catchment area via Alme, Lippe and Rhine to the North Sea.
