The Peterbachquell area nature reserve is located in the Hürtgenwald municipality , south of the B 399 and west of Vossenack .
Protection purpose
The protection purpose is the preservation and restoration of the communities and habitats of the existing moor biotopes and the typical accompanying biotopes, the preservation and development of the habitat of plants, fungi and animals in NRW in accordance with the Red List and the preservation and restoration of the flowing water ecosystem the sources of the Peterbach system .
