The Nauru Volleyball Association (NVA) is the national volleyball association of the Republic of Nauru , responsible for volleyball and beach volleyball . Nauru has been a member of the Asian Volleyball Confederation (AVC) and of the Fédération Internationale de Volleyball (FIVB) since 1951 . The association was founded in 1992. A men's and women's volleyball tournament was held at the Naoero Games . Mixed playing fields for basketball and volleyball exist in Aiwo , Denigomodu ( location ), Uaboe , Meneng , Yaren and Buada .

In June 2017, Melaney Bill, the previous president of the Nauru Volleyball Association, did not run again in the board elections. Since then, Tilson Ephraim has been the association's president, Mesha'h Denuga is vice-president, and Alpha Gwein Jose acts as general secretary .
