The Navarrette Peak is a rocky mountain peaks in the West Antarctic Marie Byrd Land . In the McCuddin Mountains it rises at the southwest end of the massif of Mount Petras .
The United States Geological Survey mapped it on the basis of surveys and aerial photographs of the United States Navy between 1959 and 1965. The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named the mountain in 1974 after Claude Angel Navarrette (1925-2010), deputy commander and chief of staff to the commander-in-chief of the support units US Navy in Operation Deep Freeze in 1972.
