The Neff Nunatak is a 1500 m high nunatak in the west Antarctic Ellsworthland . It rises 1.5 km southeast of the Schmutzler Nunatak in the southeast part of the Grossman Nunatakker .
The United States Geological Survey (USGS) mapped it on the basis of its own surveys and with the help of aerial photographs of the United States Navy between 1965 and 1968. The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named it in 1987 after Richard J. Neff, cartographer of the USGS, who became a member of the 1975 Winter team at the Australian Casey station belonged.
