The Negri River is a river in the northeast of the Australian state of Western Australia and in the northwest of the Northern Territory . The lower reaches are in the Kimberley region .

geography

The river arises on the east side of Mount Napier in the southeast corner of the Malagin Aboriginal Reserve in the northwest of the Northern Territory at the confluence of Kirkimbie Creek and Moonbool Creek . It flows through the reservation in a north-westerly direction to the small town of Mistake Creek on Duncan Road . Shortly thereafter, he crossed the border into Western Australia. About ten kilometers further west it flows into the Ord River .
