The necropolis of Is Loccis-Santus is located south of Is Urigus, northwest of San Giovanni Suergiu in the province of Sud Sardegna in Sardinia .

Is Loccis Santus

The necropolis from the 3rd millennium BC, consisting of 13 Domus de Janas . Was until the early centuries of the 2nd millennium BC. Used. The artifacts in the tombs consist of ceramics and grave goods from the successive Ozieri , Abealzu-Filigosa , Monte-Claro , Bell Beaker and Bonnanaro cultures . They are on display in the Villa Sulcis Museum in Carbonia .

There is also a nuraghe on the hill where the necropolis is located .
