history
In 1905, Dr. Elsässer built a sanatorium in Nenndorf. The building was then used as a prisoner-of-war camp for Russian officers during the First World War from 1916. After the war, Dr. Wilhelm Schwinge acquired, who converted it into a “diet sanatorium” for city dwellers. However, the company ran into financial difficulties and the building was foreclosed in 1932 . The building is used for agriculture today.
