Neomariania script ella is a butterfly from the family of Stathmopodidae .

features

The moths reach a wingspan of about 14 millimeters, the forewing length is given as seven millimeters. The light gray antennae are less thickened by scales than in Neomariania oecophorella and extend a little beyond the tip of the forewings. The labial palps diverge and are curved upwards. The middle segment is black on the outside. The end ( frons ) is yellowish, apex ( vertex ) and thorax are light gray. The legs are light brownish gray and darkened on the outside. The limbs are lighter. The hind tibia are hairy brownish yellow. The abdomen is light brown in color. The brownish-yellow anal bush is trimmed and extends beyond the very wide fringed scales of the hind wings. The light gray fore wings are elongated and have a sharper tip than that of Neomariania oecophorella . The outer edge of the wing is very sloping. A conspicuous black blemish on the inner edge extends from the middle of the wing to three quarters of the wing width. There are two slanted black stripes in the wing tip. The fringed scales are light gray. The dusty gray hind wings are very pointed and have very broad, light gray fringed scales. The underside of the forewings is black-gray, the underside of the hind wings is light gray.
