Nesillas is a genus of songbirds in the reed warbler family. There are four recent species found in Madagascar and the Comoros . A fifth type - the Aldabra Brush Warbler from Aldabra Atoll - considered extinct. Depending on the species, the size varies from 15 to 20 centimeters and the weight from 14 to 21 grams. The habitat includes semi-arid and evergreen forests, philippia heather, euphorbia forests and scrubland. The diet consists of insects, including moths and their caterpillars, ants, beetles and arachnids.
