Nesti (* 1977 in Goch , actually Jens Ernesti ) is a former German rapper .

Life

After graduating from school, Ernesti completed a commercial apprenticeship and then studied parallel to his music career

Ernesti performed several times with the formation Die Firma at various concerts , whereupon he won several prizes as a freestyle MC at various battles . Together with Hendrik Schmidt ( DJ Use ) he formed the duo The Specialists . Before they got a contract with the Cologne label La Cosa Mia in 1999 , they took part in many jams . Fader Gladiator from Die Firma produced the title track of his solo album Der Innere Kreis together with them , which was also released as a single.

His first solo album The Other Side was released in September 2001 and contained 16 tracks. On this he addressed various snapshots from his life. He was supported on the album by the band Die Firma , Future Rock , ABS and DJ Use .

In 2002 he recorded the album Echolot with Albino as Das Syndikat .

In July 2006 the single " Liebe ist ... " was released, with which he was successful in the German single charts and reached number 56.

In September 2006 he toured Germany, Austria and Switzerland with Albino.

The production of the accompanying album Vier Jahreszeiten , which was released in October 2006, was taken over by Fader Gladiator. The album, however, could not place itself in the charts .

Ernesti is married and has two children. Jens Ernesti was council member and parliamentary group leader of Bündnis 90 / Die Grünen in Grefrath until October 2017 . He has been working as an economic developer in Grefrath since October 2017. He is a social scientist and is writing his doctoral thesis.
