Social Criticism and Politics

Like all of the artist's other releases, this album can also be stylistically assigned to Conscious Rap . Intro and Mic-Check begins with a tape recording by Rudi Dutschke , which is accompanied by a melody - a tradition to which Albino stayed true on most of his later releases. Then he puts a short a cappella - Freestyle out in order to verify the sound quality of the microphone.

Albino also often refers to Rudi Dutschke on the album, for example in Ohnerechte , Die Glorreichen Zwei and In Search of Dutschke . The latter is about what he believes is a need for a person to follow in the footsteps of the student leader. The artist also pays tribute to Martin Luther King . At the end of the piece there is another quote from Dutschke, in which Dutschke explains his understanding of revolution.

In departure Albino focuses on the social conditions, especially in of Boulevard Bou presented chorus but optimism is widespread. Stocktaking is the toughest piece on the album lyrically. Albino accuses politicians of mendacity and sometimes works with implicit Nazi comparisons. He also criticizes the fact that there is too little willingness to resist social conditions.

In no rights it comes to animal rights . The song describes how animals are treated within the western world. It appeared on the follow-up album Vogelfrei in a remix version that was later used for an animal rights video. In the years that followed, Albino Without Rights often rapped at animal rights demonstrations. It formed the prelude to a series of other pieces on the same theme that the artist later recorded, including No Peace .

How crazy criticizes the destructive instincts of humanity, which would be reflected, among other things, in the form of numerous wars. Words, words, nothing but words essentially consists of a string of proverbs and is kept in a very ironic undertone. In suicide , a duet with Torch , which is already on the album Lyrical resistance appeared, it comes to the destruction of the earth by mankind.

Hip-hip

Retter in der Not , a duet with Nesti , serves to present the Syndikat music project , under whose name the two rappers released a collaboration album with Echolot in 2005 . In terms of text, the meaning of rap for the duo is addressed personally and text writing is presented as a kind of therapy.

A = S² has a very lyrical and metaphorical text borrowed from spiritualism and astrology . in Hip Hop Non Stop , Albino, Nesti and Boulevard Bou show their passion for hip-hop ; the piece tends towards battle rap in places . The latter can also be attributed to the subsequent Die Glorreichen Zwei , in which Albino duels with MC ADOP.
