EMC NetWorker (formerly Legato NetWorker ) is a software solution from EMC Corporation for data backup in large companies.
NetWorker automates and centralizes data backups on tape , hard drive and flash- based storage media in physical and virtual environments and supports the operating systems Linux , Windows , Macintosh , NetWare , OpenVMS and Unix . The deduplication of backup data is solved by EMC Data Domain (DD Boost) and EMC Avamar .
