Netschajiwka ( Ukrainian Нечаївка ; Russian Нечаевка Netschajewka ) is a village in the Ukrainian Oblast of Kirovohrad with about 640 inhabitants (2001).
The Ukrainian-Soviet writer Ivan Mykytenko ( Іван Кіндратович Микитенко , 1897–1937) lived and worked in the village, which was founded in the early 19th century . In the village there is a museum dedicated to the writer Yuri Janovsky, who was born here .
Nechayivka is the administrative center of the district council of the same name in the west of Kompaniyivka district with a total of about 800 inhabitants, which also includes the villages of Solotnyzke ( Золотницьке , ⊙ ) with about 10 inhabitants and Krynichuwate ( Криничувате , ⊙ ) with about 140 inhabitants.
The village is located on the bank of the Suhoklija ( Сугоклія ), a 58 km long tributary of the Inhul , 20 km west of the district center Kompaniyivka and 44 km south of the oblast center Kropyvnytskyi .
