Nettershausen is a district of Thannhausen in the Swabian district of Günzburg .

The village is located about one and a half kilometers south of Thannhausen on the eastern edge of the Mindeltal and on the state road 2025 . In the west it is traversed by the Hasel , here also called Balzhausener Mühlbach, a source stream of the Mindel.
history
Nettershausen is said to have been founded around 600 AD. The place name is said to come from a Germanic clan leader named "Nathrer", who repopulated the village. It is assumed that Nantershusen eventually became Nettershausen.
In 1699 a chapel was built in Nettershausen. It was rebuilt in 1791 and renovated for the last time between 2001 and 2002.
In 1806, Nice, Germany, was in the Bavarian Gemeindeedikt after Ursberg incorporated. According to the second municipal edict of May 17, 1818, the place was reclassified to the rural community of Burg . In 1907 it was separated from the Thannhausen school district and the school-age children went to school in Burg.
On January 1, 1977, the municipality of Burg and thus also Nettershausen was incorporated into Thannhausen as part of the municipal reform.
