Neu Polzow is a district of the municipality of Polzow of the Uecker-Randow-Tal office in the Vorpommern-Greifswald district in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania .
geography
The place is one kilometer northeast of Polzow and five kilometers east of Pasewalk . The neighboring towns are Rothenburg in the north, Krugsdorf and Funkhaus in the northeast, Zerrenthin in the southeast, Polzow and Papenbeck in the southwest, Pasewalk in the west and Stiftshof in the northwest.
history
Today's Neu Polzow emerged from the former Polzow estate. Before 1816 the area belonged to the Stolpirischer Kreis of the Uckermark and then came to the Prenzlau district . Since 1892, the 107 hectare large and parish-free v. Wedell Forest near Wetzenow . The place got its current name in 1924.
