Rothenburg is a district of the municipality of Krugsdorf in the Vorpommern-Greifswald district .
Geographical location
The small town of Rothenburg is 1.5 kilometers west of Krugsdorf, a town seven kilometers northeast of Pasewalk .
history
The place was created in 1752 on the orders of King Friedrich II of Prussia by the settlement of four colonist families of the Pasewalker Stadtforst. In 1818 the place came from the old Randow district to the newly formed Ueckermünde district. In the middle of the 19th century, Rothenburg had 121 inhabitants.
