The new UN high-rise , also popularly known as "Kleiner Eugen" with reference to the Lange Eugen , is a high-rise in the federal city of Bonn .

The building is located in the federal district on the banks of the Rhine (Stresemannufer) and is located next to the old waterworks within the UN campus . Construction work on the 65 m high tower began in 2017. The topping-out ceremony was celebrated in June 2019 and it is expected to be completed in 2020. Interior work is currently still in progress, the 7000 m² façade area has already been largely completed. After opening, the new UN high-rise will provide space for around 330 United Nations employees on 17 floors and 13,400 m² . The construction costs amount to around 72 million euros. The building is the eighth tallest building in the city , but will probably be relegated to ninth place after the completion of the New Kanzlerplatz .
