The Neuhebridengraben is a deep- sea channel up to 7570 m deep and 320 km long in the southwestern part of the Pacific Ocean .

The New Hebrew Trench lies between Vanuatu in the north and east, the Fiji Trench in the southeast, New Caledonia in the south and southwest and the New Hebrew Basin in the west. It is located between 17 and 21 ° south latitude and 167 and 169 ° east longitude . The New Hebrew Trench , the deepest point of which is east of the island of Lifou , is continued to the southeast in the Fiji Trench .

The Neuhebridengraben forms part of the deeply incised seam between the Australian plate in the southwest and the Pacific plate in the northeast.
