Lotte Ledl

Lotte Ledl (born March 16, 1930 in Vienna ) is an Austrian actress .

life and career

After graduating from high school, she attended the Max Reinhardt Seminar in Vienna from 1949 to 1951 and made her debut as Helena in Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night's Dream in Strobl . From 1952 Lotte Ledl then played at the Volkstheater and later at the Theater am Parkring and at the Residenztheater in Munich . In 1963 she became a member of the Burgtheater . In addition, she took part in the Ruhr Festival , the Bregenz Festival and the Salzburg Festival .

Lotte Ledl has appeared in many film roles since the 1950s . She seldom embodied clearly lovable characters, mostly she was the envious rival, simple-minded maid, difficult wife or malicious neighbor. Since the 1960s , she has also acted in numerous television games and series. Her last major role was that of cook Anna Kofler in the Schlosshotel Orth entertainment series . She was married to the cameraman Sepp Riff . Their son is the musical performer, dancer and choreographer Alexander Riff (-Ledl) (* 1966).
