particularities
- The Heidi film from 1965 is a color remake of the black and white film from 1952.
- The script and locations are almost identical, but completely different actors were used.
- The film from 1965 has been modernized a bit: instead of a steam locomotive, an electric locomotive can be seen and cars instead of horse-drawn carriages.
- For the author Richard Schweizer it was the last film. He died at his own hand that same year.
