Rolf Moebius

Rolf Johannes Martin Moebius (born July 27, 1915 in Riesa ; † June 4, 2004 in Berlin ) was a German actor .

Life

After Rolf Moebius had attended the drama school of the Staatstheater Berlin , he mainly worked at the theater . But in 1937 he got his first major role in the film Urlaub auf Ehrenwort , after having acted in the Emil Jannings film Traumulus at the age of 20 . Until 1945 he made many more films. After World War II , he turned back to the theater until he reappeared in film in 1949, and made various films in the 1950s.

In 1960 he starred in Fritz Lang's film Die 1000 Augen des Dr. Mabuse next Gert Fröbe a policeman and 1965 he played in the movie Heidi physician Dr. Classes. He last played a role on television in 1976 in the film The New Sorrows of Young W. He then concentrated more on acting and played theater until the 1980s.

According to his partner Carin Noack, he died of pneumonia on June 4, 2004 .
