Neunhoffen ( German : Neunhofen ) is a district of Dambach , a municipality in the Bas-Rhin department in the Grand Est region (until 2015 Alsace ) in France .
history
The oldest surviving mention of Neunhofen comes from 1170.
At the end of the 18th century, Neunhofen belonged to the Wörth district of the County of Hanau-Lichtenberg , which at that time was part of the Landgraviate of Hessen-Darmstadt . With the upheaval begun by the French Revolution , the Amt Wörth became part of France in 1793 and was dissolved in the subsequent administrative reforms. In 1798 the village had 200 inhabitants.
