Christofer Drew Ingle (born February 11, 1991 in Joplin , Missouri ), known under the stage name Never Shout Never , is an American acoustic pop musician (vocals, guitar, ukulele, piano and harmonica).

Life

Ingle started making music in September 2007 under the stage name NeverShoutNever. He published his first recording on the Internet and achieved success with it through MySpace before he released the EP Yippie! on July 29, 2008. On July 30, 2008, he appeared on MTV's Total Request Live , where he played the single Bigcitydreams . He toured with Hellogoodbye and Ace Enders in the fall of 2008 . NeverShoutNever! also toured with The Scene Aesthetic , The Honorary Title , and The Bigger Lights in late February 2009 and with bands such as Forever the Sickest Kids , The Cab, and Mercy Mercedes .

He also started a solo project called The Modern Racket and is the lead singer of the band Eatmewhileimhot .

The members of his band are Taylor McFee (bass) and Hayden Kaiser (tambourine, djembe, xylophone).

He is signed to Warner Bros. Records , but as part of the deal has founded his own label, Loveway Records , on which he releases his music and that of his friends. NeverShoutNever's debut album! What is love? was produced by Butch Walker . The third album Time Travel was released on September 20, 2011. It is the first album to be released as a complete band. In November 2012 the album Indigo was released .

Ingle is a huge Beatles and Ramones fan. Christofer Drew Ingle follows a strict vegetarian diet.

stage name

Since November 2008 the official spelling of Ingles stage name is "NeverShoutNever!". Before that, the spelling on iTunes and the Ingles official website was “Never Shout Never”. Warner Bros. Records , however, uses "Never Shout Never".

In an interview, Ingle revealed that there was no longer an exclamation point in his stage name and that he would pronounce NeverShoutNever in one word when he is happy, but in three words when he is not.
