The Newfoundland and Labrador Route 2 is a street in the northeast of the Canadian province of Newfoundland and Labrador . It has a length of 34 km, the eastern section from Route 1 to the port of St. John’s belongs to the National Highway System .
The route begins in Conception Bay South in the east of the island of Newfoundland . It runs east and then crosses Route 1 , the Trans-Canada Highway . From there it goes northeast and ends at the port of St. John's.
