Ngataki is a small settlement in the Far North District of Northland on the North Island of New Zealand .
geography
The settlement is located on the Aupōuri Peninsula , around 46 km northwest of Kaitaia on New Zealand State Highway 1 , halfway between Te Kao around 10 km northwest and Houhora around 8 km southeast. It is just under 4 km to the east coast and 8 km to the west coast with Ninety Mile Beach . The Ngataki Stream flows through the settlement. To the west of the settlement are a few small lakes, including Lake Half , Swan Lake and south of the settlement, Waihopo Lake .
