Niall Matter (born October 20, 1980 in Edmonton , Alberta ) is a Canadian actor who was previously mainly seen in television roles.
Life
Niall Matter was established in October 1980 in Edmonton in the Canadian province of Alberta born. He initially worked on oil rigs for eight years to fund his training at the Vancouver Film School . After roles in the Canadian youth series The Best Years and in Stargate Atlantis , Matter was best known for his appearance in Loch Ness - The Beast from the Deep . In 2008 he played a role in the film Dr. Dolittle 4 .
From 2007 to 2012 he played Zane Donovan in the science fiction series Eureka - The Secret City . At first only as a supporting actor, he rose to the leading actor at the beginning of the third season. In 2009 he also made a cameo as the character Mothman in the movie Watchmen . In 2011 and 2012 he was seen in five episodes of The-CW - youth series 90210 as Gregg . In March 2012, he received the lead role of Evan Cross in the Primeval - spin-off Primeval: New World .
