Nicholas Graf (born January 9, 1983 ) is a former South African ice hockey player who, in addition to his active season, was the assistant coach of the South African national ice hockey team .

Career

Nicholas Graf began his career with the Krugersdorp Wildcats, for which he played in the Gauteng Province Hockey League , one of the regional leagues whose winners play the South African national championship. After playing for league rivals Johannesburg Vipers in 2012 and for most of the 2013 season, he returned to the Wildcats, which had since moved to Johannesburg, for the final games of the season, where he subsequently ended his career.

International

Graf was initially on the ice at the U18 World Championships in 2000 in Europe Division 2 and 2001 in Division III and at the U20 World Championships in Division III in 2001 and 2002 for South Africa.

With the men's national team , he took part in the world championships in Division III in 2008 and Division II in 2012 .

Trainer

In addition to his active career, Graf acted as player- coach for the Johannesburg Vipers in 2012 and as assistant coach for the South African national team , which played in Division III, at the 2013 World Cup .
