Nicholas Kemboi (athlete, 1983)
Nicholas Kemboi (born November 25, 1983 in Kericho , Rift Valley Province ) is a Qatari long-distance runner of Kenyan origin.
Life
In 2001 he finished fourth in the junior races of the Cross Country World Championships , in 2002 seventh.
In 2003 he ran the 10,000 m in 26: 30.03 minutes. Only two runners ( Paul Tergat and Haile Gebrselassie ) had been faster before, and since then this time has only been exceeded by Kenenisa Bekele .
Starting for Qatar, he took part in the World Athletics Championships in 2005 and finished ninth in the 10,000 m.
