Nicholas Crespigny Lawrence Vivian, 6th Baron Vivian ( December 11, 1935 - February 28, 2004 ) was a British peer , officer and politician of the Conservative Party . He was one of 92 Erbpeers (Hereditary peers), after the House of Lords Act 1999 in the House of Lords remained.

life and career

Born to Anthony Vivian, 5th Baron Vivian , and Victoria Ruth Mary Rosamund (née Oliphant), he attended Ludgrove School , later Eton College in Berkshire and Complutense University in Madrid , where he received a degree in Spanish literature, history and acquired culture.

In 1955 Vivian became an officer in the Army Emergency Reserve cavalry regiment of the "3rd Carabiniers" (Prince of Wales's Dragoon Guards), which was later merged with the Royal Scots Grays to form the Royal Scots Dragoon Guards .
